Othello Planning Commission & Othello City Council

Park Element/Park Plan 2022

Notice is hereby given that the City of Othello will hold public hearings to consider updates to the Parks Element of the Comprehensive Plan, which serves as the City’s Park Plan. The hearings will be held:

• At the Planning Commission meeting, Tuesday, January 18 at 6:00 PM
• At the City Council meeting, Monday, January 24 at 6:00 PM

The public hearings will be held at Othello City Hall, Council Chambers, 500 E. Main St. The hearings will also be accessible by internet and phone. All Council and Commission meetings are open to the public. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including accessibility or an interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.

The City has also issued a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) for this action. This project does not have any probable significant adverse environmental impacts. This decision was made after review of an environmental checklist and other information on file with the City. Written comments on the DNS will be accepted until 5:00 PM on January 14 at City Hall, 500 E. Main Street, Othello. For additional information please contact the City of Othello at 509-488-5686.
