Zoning Update 2025 – Residential Zones, Definitions, & General Provisions
Notice is hereby given that the City of Othello will hold public hearings to discuss amending the following sections of the Othello Municipal Code (OMC) to make housing easier and less expensive to build, and to clarify and update some sections:
- OMC 17.09 Definitions
- OMC 17.20 Residential Zones
- OMC 17.56 General Provisions
The hearings will be held:
- At the Planning Commission meeting, Mon. June 16, 2025 at 6:00 PM
- At the City Council meeting, Mon. Mon. June 23, 2025 at 6:00 PM
The public hearings will be held at Othello City Hall, Council Chambers, 500 E. Main St. The hearings will also be accessible by internet and phone. All Council and Commission meetings are open to the public. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including accessibility or an interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.
