Notice is hereby given that the City of Othello will hold public hearings to discuss the following:

• A proposed annexation of 197.1 acres, south of Cemetery Road, north of Hwy 26, and east of CBHA and Wahitis Elementary.  More information
• A proposed annexation of 658 acres, southeast of city limits, west of Hwy 17 and north of Hampton Road, within Section 10, 11, & 14. More information

• Amending the following sections of the Othello Municipal Code (OMC) to make housing easier and less expensive to build, and to clarify and update some sections: OMC 17.09 Definitions, OMC 17.20 Residential Zones. OMC 17.56 General Provisions More information

The hearings will be held at the City Council meeting, Mon. June 23, 2025 at 6:00 PM, at Othello City Hall, 500 E. Main St. The hearings will also be accessible by internet and phone. Interested persons are invited to appear and testify in favor or opposed to each proposal. All Council meetings are open to the public. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including accessibility or an interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.
