Are you interested in serving the City of Othello? There are currently two opportunities available:
- City Council Position No. 5 –The remaining term runs through 2027.
- Planning Commission Position No. 2 – The remaining term runs through 2028.
Interested city residents are encouraged to apply!
Eligibility Requirements for City Council:
Applicants must:
- Be a full-time resident within the Othello city limits
- Be a registered voter, at least 18 years of age, eligible to vote in the City of Othello
- Provide a physical street address (Post Office Boxes will not be accepted for verification)

- A letter of interest stating your background, qualifications, and reason for applying
- A current resume
Deadline:
All materials must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025.

Review Process:
- Planning Commission Position: Applications will be reviewed by the Mayor, who will make a recommendation to the City Council for appointment approval at a council meeting.
- City Council Position: Applications will be included on the December 8, 2025 Council agenda. Interviews will be conducted during that meeting, and an appointment may be made the same evening.
